Barcelona’s Rising Star: Moroccan Teen Ezzalzouli Makes First-Team Debut

The Moroccan player Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, who played for Hercules d’Alicante, has made a place for himself in the Barcelona B team. At just 19 years old, he has signed a two-year renewable contract with the Catalan club. He even had the chance to play with the seniors during the match between FC Barcelona and Deportivo Alaves.
Born in Beni-Mellal, the young prodigy currently weighs heavily, as he can only be released with a clause of 200 million euros. In Spain, his coach has given him the chance to make his league debut against Deportivo Alavès, making him the first Moroccan international to play for the legendary club.
Entering in the 80th minute to replace Nico, the young player had an impressive experience even though his debut with the seniors only lasted ten minutes. A baptism of fire for Abde as Barça wanted more than anything to win but the match ended in a draw (1-1).
