Barcelona Rejects $16 Million Offer for Moroccan Winger Ez Abde

FC Barcelona is not about to let Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli go. The Catalan club turned down a nice offer during the January transfer window.
FC Barcelona intends to keep its young talent Ez Abde. According to journalist Roger Torello of Mundo Deportivo, the club’s management rejected a 15 million euro offer from "one of the best teams in the Bundesliga" during the January 2022 transfer window, reports Heavy.com. Barça "will evaluate" the performance of its winger this summer, then make a decision, he added. The Catalan club is therefore not about to let the Moroccan player go, while it has already terminated the contracts of certain players such as Philippe Coutinho, Inaki Pena, Alex Collado and Yusuf Demir, and recruited others such as Adama Traoré, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Catalan club has also expressed its gratitude to the Moroccan for the simple fact that he chose to stay rather than join the Moroccan team for the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2021) which took place in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022. The 20-year-old player has scored 1 goal in 12 appearances this season.
