Barcelona’s Ilias Akhomach Called Up to Spain U-19 Squad for Euro Qualifiers

Ilias Akhomach, the Moroccan gem of Barça B, has been called up by Julen Guerrero, the coach of the Spanish under-19 national team, for the qualifying matches for the European Championship in that category.
Ilias Akhomach has been called up for the matches against Denmark, Luxembourg and Ukraine on March 22, 25 and 28. The key player of Barça Atlètic will play these matches, after being suspended for four matches due to inappropriate remarks made during the match against Amorebieta, reports Sport.es, specifying that the Moroccan should leave Barça this summer.
In addition to Akhomach, Víctor Barberá from Barça B has also been called up by the U-19 coach for the same matches. The player is in a difficult situation, having not had much playing time this season, even though he remains the club’s top scorer.
