Leeds United Set to Sign Barcelona B Talent Ilias Akhomach as Contract Expires

Several European clubs including Leeds United are interested in Ilias Akhomach for next season. The young Moroccan-origin striker has failed to reach an agreement with Barça to renew his contract, which expires on June 30.
Leeds United is showing particular interest in Akhomach, considered one of Barça B’s best talents, but who has not had much playing time with the first team. The 20-year-old striker will almost certainly join the English club, now that he has not reached an agreement with Barcelona to renew his contract, which ends in June, reports Fichajes.
The Premier League club should present a firm offer to Ilias Akhomach in the coming days to secure his services. It will be up to the Moroccan-origin player alone to decide whether or not to accept this offer. The young striker could be one of Leeds’ most important signings in the next summer transfer window.
