Barcelona Eyes Koundé Deal, Considers Offering Moroccan Star Ezzalzouli to Sevilla

Abdessamad Ezzalzouli could leave FC Barcelona this summer to land at Sevilla FC. The Catalan club is considering including him in a deal involving the arrival of French international Jules Koundé.
Very active on the summer transfer market, FC Barcelona has not yet completed its transfer window. The Blaugrana want to strengthen their defense, with French central defender Jules Koundé, who will certainly leave Sevilla FC, in their sights.
To finalize this transfer, the Barcelona officials, who have already started negotiations with the Andalusian leaders, are considering including the Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli in the operation, reports the Catalan newspaper Sport.
Moreover, the source points out, the player’s profile is appreciated in Andalusia. This could facilitate Koundé’s transfer, for a sum between 40 and 45 million euros. Discussions between the two parties should resume at the beginning of this week, it is specified.
For now, the player is on a summer tour with the club in the United States. But with the many recruits, his chances of staying in Catalonia are diminishing. Ezzalzouli, also in search of playing time, could relaunch himself alongside his national team teammates Youssef En-Nesyri, Yassine Bounou and also Munir El Haddadi.
