Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Fez After Computer and Document Theft
A Sub-Saharan national suspected of burglary at a bank branch in Fez was arrested on Tuesday by the police.
"The services of the Fez police prefecture had, on Sunday evening, noted the burglary targeting the bank branch, in particular the computer equipment and banking documents," indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release, specifying that "the investigations and field investigations, supported by technical expertise, led to the arrest, on Tuesday, of the main suspect."
During the searches, the police seized a batch of the stolen documents while the computer equipment was found "at another individual suspected of concealing the loot from this criminal act."
The suspect was taken into custody as part of the investigation, concludes the DGSN.
