Bad news for Moroccan customers of Transavia

As of April 3, 2024, Transavia will align itself with its low-cost competitors and charge for cabin baggage. This decision is accompanied by the arrival of new, more spacious aircraft, equipped with larger luggage compartments.
The new Transavia Airbus A320neo aircraft have Airbus’ XL Bin luggage compartments, allowing a 37% increase in storage capacity. This innovation allows up to 8 standard (55x35x25 cm) bags to be stored vertically, compared to 5 previously, the company indicates.
This is a first for Transavia: the company will now charge for cabin baggage. A small "hand luggage" (40x30x20 cm) that can be placed under the seat remains free of charge, as is the case with Ryanair.
The cabin baggage option will be charged from 15 euros, a variable price depending on the destination and the booking date. Cabin baggage must not exceed 55x35x25 cm and 10 kg. Beyond these dimensions and this weight, passengers will have to pay the rate of a checked bag.
Customers who have chosen the "MAX" fare, which is more flexible and more expensive, will be able to continue to travel with a hand luggage, a standard cabin baggage and benefit from priority boarding.
