Two Arrested in Spanish Drug Trafficking Shooting That Killed Moroccan Man

The Civil Guard has arrested two people for their alleged involvement in the shooting recorded on Tuesday in the municipality of Punta Umbría in Huelva, which left one dead and one injured, both of Moroccan nationality. It would be a settling of scores between drug trafficking networks.
The police were alerted on Tuesday that a shot had been fired in this area and dispatched several patrols to the scene. Once there, the agents found two men on the ground, one already dead and the other injured. Of Moroccan nationality, they were both attacked with a firearm, according to 20minutos. The injured Moroccan, aged 42, was transferred to the Juan Ramón Jiménez hospital in Huelva where he underwent emergency surgery.

The investigation carried out by the Huelva judicial police has led to the arrest of two individuals suspected of committing these crimes. Other arrests could follow. The two defendants have been detained, pending trial. According to the initial conclusions of the investigation, these attacks would be linked to a settling of scores between drug trafficking networks.
