Argentina World Cup Parade Marred by Incidents, Draws Comparisons to Morocco’s Celebration

The Argentines saluted Morocco for the organization of the parade of the Atlas Lions, but criticized that of their selection, world champion in Qatar, marked by incidents.
In Argentina, nearly 4 million people were there to welcome Messi and his teammates, who paraded through the streets of Buenos Aires on Tuesday, December 20. But numerous more or less serious incidents were recorded during this outpouring of joy. Enough to provoke criticism from some Argentines.
On the web, they did not hesitate to compare the parade of their selection to that of the Atlas Lions, who finished fourth at the World Cup in Qatar. Tens of thousands of Moroccans welcomed the protégés of Walid Regragui as heroes, who made Morocco the first African and Arab country to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. This parade took place without incident and the Argentines praised the merits of the Moroccan organization.
