Archbishop of Rabat Extends Eid Al Adha Greetings, Promotes Interfaith Unity in Morocco
On the occasion of the Eid al-Adha festival, the Archbishop of Rabat addressed a message to the Muslims of the world, particularly those of Morocco, to express the proximity of thought of Christians.
Mgr Cristóbal López Romero rejoices in this celebration which symbolizes sharing, brotherhood, solidarity and love. "Today, we rejoice with all the Muslims of the world and particularly those of Morocco on the occasion of the celebration of Eid Al Adha," declared the Archbishop of Rabat.
He also specified that this festival is "an opportunity to take a step forward and advance interreligious dialogue". For him, it is important that all the religions existing in Morocco join hands to "calmly advance on the path of dialogue, fraternity and mutual understanding".
