Catholic Nun Working as Nurse in Morocco Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Archbishop of Rabat, Mgr Cristóbal López Romero, has announced that a nun from the Catholic Church in the city of Fez has tested positive for the coronavirus. She is a nurse on duty in a hospital that receives Covid-19 patients.
According to the archbishop, the nun was infected while fulfilling her duty as a nurse. According to the explanations of Mgr López Romero, Sister Lucie’s infection has nothing to do with "madness or irresponsible behavior" but is due to her "spirit of dedication" as a nurse working in a hospital where several Covid-19 patients are under treatment. According to him, the nun’s health condition is stable.
In addition, Mgr López Romero called on the faithful of the Catholic Church to wear their protective mask before coming to the service. For him, it is "unacceptable to attend mass without a mask". This Catholic dignitary is alluding to those who "claim to forget theirs at home".
