Apple TV+ Casts Assaad Bouab in New Benjamin Franklin Historical Series
A new adventure for the Franco-Moroccan actor Assaad Bouab. He will be in the cast of the new Apple TV series, dedicated to the life of the American Benjamin Franklin, a historical and emblematic figure.
The Franco-Moroccan actor Assaad Bouab will play in this new series the role of the French philosopher and playwright Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais. There is also Thibault de Montalembert in the role of the French diplomat and minister, the Count of Vergennes. Other actors such as Noah Jupe, Daniel Mays, Ludivine Sagnier and Jeanne Balibar have also been invited to participate in this fictional series in tribute to Benjamin Franklin.
The main character (Benjamin Franklin) is played by Michael Douglas. Filming of the series has already started in Versailles and will consist of eight episodes that recount the life of Benjamin Franklin, American politician and one of the founding fathers of the United States.
Assaad Bouad has just finished filming the last season of the Peaky Blinders series, and here he is already engaged in a new series to which he is happy to have been associated. "Glad to join this incredible cast. A great adventure begins," the actor wrote on his Instagram account.
