An American Ice Cream Giant Conquers Morocco
American premium light ice cream specialist Cold Stone is consolidating its presence in Morocco. Just a few months after its first opening, the brand has just opened a second location in Casablanca, marking a new milestone in its national development strategy.
After an initial opening in the Maârif neighborhood in September 2025, the brand founded in 1988 in Arizona chose Boulevard Ghandi to establish its new branch. According to Challenge, this store benefits from the strong dynamism of residential and commercial real estate in this sector. Alongside in-store sales, Cold Stone is rolling out customized catering services designed for corporate events and private celebrations.

This Casablanca opening is part of an ambitious three-year investment plan aimed at reaching around ten Moroccan establishments by 2028. The Kingdom is also one of the company’s first forays into Africa, following its expansion into Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. On an international scale, the group generates nearly one billion dollars in annual revenue and relies on approximately 5,000 employees operating in more than 1,500 locations across 500 cities.
