American Fugitive Wanted by Interpol Arrested at Moroccan Airport

The individual, who was on board a plane from Egypt, is being prosecuted for forgery of official documents. He was arrested on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, following a checkpoint operation.

The 59-year-old American, whose reason for travel to Morocco was not revealed by the authorities, is the subject of a red notice issued by Interpol.

The suspect was placed in custody, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending the completion of the extradition procedure to the United Arab Emirates.
