Algerian Singer Faces Backlash Over Morocco Territorial Integrity Comments
The support of the Algerian raï singer Reda Taliani for Morocco’s territorial integrity is not to the liking of his compatriots. Some have violently attacked him.
Reda Taliani is under fire for having supported Morocco’s territorial integrity. Faced with this flood of criticism from Algerians, he posted a video message on his Instagram account to clarify the situation.
"Why do you absolutely want the Algerian public to hate me and nurture hatred towards me. You must know that I am 100% Algerian. [...] I am even more Algerian than those who attack me on social networks," he defended himself.
The performer of "The Algerian Kamikazes" forbids his critics to try to involve him at all costs in political affairs.
