Algerian Raï Star Reda Taliani Arrested in Morocco for DUI and Assault After Crash

A famous raï singer was arrested on Sunday in Mohammedia for drunk driving, after causing a traffic accident and assaulting a motorist.
This accident occurred when the singer and Algerian raï musician, was driving in a state of intoxication, with a bottle of whiskey on the front seat of his vehicle.
In his driving, Tamni Reda or Reda Taliani, collided with another car, on the Zenata boulevard. In a fit of anger, the native of El Biar, a commune in the city of Algiers, wanted to fight with his victim.
Upon the arrival of the police, and after the alcohol test proved positive, the singer was taken to the police station.
Pending his appearance before the public prosecutor, the 40-year-old singer and composer was placed in custody.
