Royal Air Maroc Denies Boarding to Algerian Passengers, Sparking Diplomatic Tension

Royal Air would have opposed the boarding of several Algerian passengers on its flight from the United States, says Noreddine Belmeddah, the MP for Algerian emigration. These Algerian passengers, residents in the United States, were to make the trip to Paris via a stopover in Casablanca.
According to Royal Air Maroc, the Algerians did not have a visa to enter French territory. For the Algerian MP for emigration who denounced this situation on his Facebook page, one of his compatriots holds a visa and a residence card in the United States while the other has an American passport.
Continuing his denunciation, he claims not to understand this "incomprehensible decision" of the Moroccan company which moreover had sold the two tickets to the Algerian nationals.
