Algerian Newspaper Director Fired Over Moroccan Soccer Team Photo Blunder

The publication of a photo of the Moroccan football team instead of that of the Algerian team has cost the director of an Algerian government newspaper dearly. The latter was simply dismissed.
The Director General of the Algerian daily El Chaab pays dearly for the erroneous publication of a photo of the Moroccan national team to illustrate an article on the young Fennecs of Algeria, who were playing their match against France as part of the Mediterranean Games taking place in Oran. In the published photo, we see three Lionceaux who are also participating in the tournament, singing the Moroccan national anthem with their hand on their heart before the kick-off of one of their matches.
This "serious mistake" consequently led to "the end of the functions of the Director General of the newspaper El Chaab, Mustapha Hamici," announced the Algerian Ministry of Communication in a press release.
