Morocco ranks in the top 5 of the cheapest African countries for mobile data, far behind Algeria. This is the result of the ranking of a specialized website.
In North Africa, Egypt (9.67 USD, 9th global rank) tops the top 5 of the cheapest countries for mobile data. It is followed by Tunisia (14.53 USD, 21st) and Libya (18.68 USD, 36th). Algeria (20.51 USD, 42nd) and Morocco (32.47 USD, 71st) close the podium.
Globally, Sudan is at the top with an average cost of 2.30 USD per month. Conversely, Burundi is the most expensive country in the world to get a high-speed fixed line, with an average plan of 383.79 USD per month.
