Algeria Dominates North African Table Tennis Qualifiers, Defeats Morocco 3-0
The Algerian table tennis team (men and women) won the gold medal in the team event, beating Morocco (3-0), in Tipasa, Algeria.
During this tournament in the "North Africa" zone, counting for the qualification to the African Championship and the 2023 World Championship for men, the Moroccans were unable to match the Algerians who also defeated Tunisia 3 to 2, and Mauritania (3-0).
Algeria (the host country) participated in this competition with 13 athletes including 7 women, Morocco with 06 athletes including (3 men and 3 women).
The qualifiers from the Tipasa tournament will participate in the African Championship scheduled from September 11 to 18 at the Coupole of the July 5 Olympic Complex in Algeria.
