Algeria’s Culture Minister Subtly Responds to Morocco in Fennecs Jersey Dispute

Following Adidas, the Algerian Minister of Culture has responded to the controversy surrounding the new Fennecs jersey. A rather subtle response.
Soraya Mouloudji recently appeared in parliament, wearing a headscarf with Zelige patterns, claimed by her Moroccan counterpart. This attitude of the minister has been widely commented on by several observers, who see it as an "elegant" way of responding to Morocco. With this gesture, the minister has intelligently and beautifully claimed the material heritage of Algerian Zelige culture, they have advanced.
To recall, the Moroccan Ministry of Culture asked the German equipment manufacturer to withdraw the new jerseys of the Algerian national team, on the grounds that they would be inspired by Moroccan Zelige.
The brand had quickly responded on Twitter that it had drawn its inspiration for the jersey from the Zelige existing in the Mechouar Palace in Tlemcen, in northwestern Algeria.
