Algeria Censors Moroccan Colors During Africa Cup Qualifier Broadcast

Behind football, Algeria is once again showing its hostility towards Morocco by hiding the scoreboard during the match between the Fennecs and Equatorial Guinea, as part of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
A new hostile act towards Morocco. Algerian television has masked the scoreboard that publicly displays the score and time of the matches, for which the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has chosen the colors of the Moroccan flag, red and green, during the live broadcast of the match between Algeria and Equatorial Guinea, as part of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco 2025). All other channels such as the Qatari beIN Sports channels that broadcast the same match have, on the other hand, displayed the scoreboard.
Disappointed, many Moroccans have demanded that a welcome with the map of Morocco be reserved for the Algerian national team if it qualifies for the Africa Cup of Nations finals to be held in Morocco. They called for placing the map of the kingdom at the center of the stadiums where the Fennecs will play on Moroccan territory.
