Algeria Boycotts CAF Awards Ceremony After Mahrez Snub

The president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Walid Sadi, announced on Sunday his intention to boycott the CAF Awards ceremony, which will be held this Monday, December 11 in Marrakech.
This decision comes in reaction to the exclusion of Riyad Mahrez from the list of finalists for the African Player of the Year award. Mahrez, despite a good season with Manchester City, was not among the three finalists, reports
