Abandoned Newborn Found in Moroccan City Center, Police Launch Investigation

An infant was abandoned in the center of Guelmim, on Friday, September 6, near the Al Wadnounia residence, in the Amehrich neighborhood.
Immediately alerted, the elements of the Judicial Police and Civil Protection went to the scene to collect the initial data and supervise the transfer of the infant to the regional hospital for the necessary tests, reports Hespress.
Questioned, the Attorney General at the Court of First Instance of Guelmim ordered the opening of an investigation into this case in order to find the baby’s natural parents and determine all the circumstances of the situation, the same source specifies.
