Wall Collapse in Sidi Ifni Kills Woman, Injures Infant During Construction Work

A tragedy occurred in Sidi Ifni, on Friday, September 6, in the commune of Amlou. Indeed, the collapse of a wall resulted in the death of a woman while a baby was seriously injured.
Several people who witnessed this macabre scene testified that the accident occurred during work carried out by a bulldozer.
Alerted immediately, the local authorities and the gendarmes responded quickly and arrived at the scene of the tragedy, reports the website, Barlamane.com. The media added that the victim’s body was transported to the morgue for an autopsy while the baby was rushed to the hospital to receive appropriate care.
Meanwhile, an investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to determine the ins and outs of this tragedy that the local populations will not soon forget.
