The playmaker of Ajax has once again displayed his immense talent during the 6th matchday of the European competition group stage. As promised at the pre-match press conference, the maestro Hakim Ziyech gave his best to secure the victory with his club Ajax Amsterdam.
In the 2nd minute of play, the protégé of Eric Ten Hag opened the scoring with a flat foot following a pass from Tadic. Dominating the Lille players in front of their audience, the Ajacides multiplied the opportunities before increasing the score.
The second goal came in the 58th minute thanks to a decisive pass delivered by the Atlas Lion to his teammate Quincy Promès and which surprised the Lille goalkeeper, Mike Maignan.
The second half of the game took place without major incidents except for a magical brace signed with a hand of Ziyech. This was disallowed by the central referee, after VAR review. In the 87th minute, the Atlas Lion had to give way, following an injury to the arm and under the warm applause of the spectators chanting his name.
