Hakim Ziyech Seeks Ajax Return as Galatasaray Exit Looms

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is disappointed with the adventure in Turkey and is seeking to leave Galatasaray this summer to return to Europe, more precisely to the Netherlands.
Hakim Ziyech is angry with Galatasaray. He has deleted all photos related to Galatasaray from his Instagram account, thus marking a definitive break. Relegated to the bench in the last game, the Moroccan international is ready to do anything to leave Turkey this summer. His wish is to return to Ajax Amsterdam, the club where he wrote the beautiful pages of his football career. The Atlas Lion is now racing against time, as the transfer market in the Netherlands remains open until Monday, September 2.
Loaned last season by Chelsea as part of a deal worth €3.6 million ($3.86 million), Ziyech officially signed for one season, plus an option, at Galatasaray at the end of June. The Turkish club exercised the purchase option that became free thanks to clauses fulfilled at the end of the year. But the recent performances of the former Chelsea attacking midfielder do not really guarantee his stay in the Turkish club. Despite the 8 goals scored and the 4 assists in 23 matches, his performance is considered insufficient given his high salary.
Ziyech, who is not about to relive a new misadventure, prefers to return to his club of heart, Ajax Amsterdam.
