Ziyech’s Romanian Gambit: From Chelsea Star to CFR Cluj’s Potential Game-Changer
Currently without a club, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is considering a Romanian offer and is about to make a decision.
Will Hakim Ziyech continue his football career in Romania? He is reportedly studying an offer from the Romanian club CFR Cluj and could make his final decision public on Monday, according to the Turkish media Fanatik. This club is determined to secure the services of the former Ajax star. The question remains whether the former Chelsea player, who was recruited for 40 million euros, will be convinced by the Romanian offer.
Currently, Ziyech is without a club. He mutually terminated his contract with Al Duhail, after only four months of collaboration. If he joins the Romanian club CFR Cluj and starts to shine, Ziyech could be called up by Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, to participate in the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco 2025) with the Atlas Lions.
Only good performances can motivate his return to the Moroccan national team.
