Ziyech Declines MLS Offer, Opts to Stay with Galatasaray Despite Limited Playing Time

The future of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is at the heart of many speculations. While his name is being insistently circulated towards Major League Soccer, the player seems to want to stay in Turkey, at least for the moment.
Turkish media have indeed revealed the interest of American clubs for the attacking midfielder. A concrete offer would even have been transmitted to the player. But Ziyech would have politely declined the proposal, preferring to focus on his Istanbulite adventure.
However, the situation of the Atlas Lion is far from idyllic. Relegated to the substitute bench since the start of the season, he has not been recalled to the national team in recent months. Repeated injuries and tactical choices by coach Okan Buruk have prevented him from fully expressing his talent.
Despite this difficult context, Ziyech does not give up and wishes to impose himself at Galatasaray. The Turkish club, which had opened the door to his departure in the event of a satisfactory offer, will not hold him back against his will.
Other clubs, particularly in Qatar, would be in the running to secure the player’s services. Al Arabi, who had already tried to recruit him last summer, would have come back to the charge. It is therefore getting complicated for the one who had joined Galatasaray in 2023 from Chelsea. With 12 goals in 23 games, Ziyech had then contributed to the championship-Super Cup double of the Istanbulite club.
