Zidane Hints at Hakimi’s Real Madrid Return After Impressive Dortmund Loan

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi will be able to join Real Madrid by next season. This was announced by Zinedine Zidane at a press conference on Wednesday, December 11.
The return of the Moroccan player to the Casa Blanca squad is becoming more concrete this season. It has also been confirmed by the Spanish press. According to Hespress, the coach of the Merengues did not rule out this possibility, delighted to see the evolution of his protégé in the Bundesliga.
Loaned to Borussia Dortmund in 2018 for two years, the Atlas Lion has shone this season, particularly in the Champions League, scoring two braces.
According to the 1998 World Cup champion, the most important thing is that Achraf Hakimi plays in Dortmund, that he plays very well and scores goals. "He has a great future at Real Madrid and we’ll see what happens," reassured the French coach.
According to the Spanish media, Achraf Hakimi’s return has been validated by the club president, Florentino Pérez and Zinédine Zidane, who already sees him in the right-back position. However, the return of the last Moroccan representative in the Champions League will not be easy, with the strong presence of Dani Carvajal, who has been installed for several years on the right flank of the Madrid defense, it is noted.
