Moroccan Star Hakimi Reconsiders Real Madrid Return Amid Playing Time Concerns

The Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is no longer interested in a return to Real Madrid at the end of his loan. This new turnaround of the Dortmund player is justified by the fear of playing a secondary role at the Casa Blanca.
Achraf Hakimi "no longer wants to return to Real Madrid," even though he had repeatedly expressed his desire to reunite with his former teammates at the Casa Blanca at the end of his loan to Borussia Dortmund, reports the daily Sport.
This new decision comes after much reflection by the Atlas Lion. According to the same newspaper, the 21-year-old Moroccan prodigy has expressed doubts about his choice to return to the Casa Blanca, for fear of playing a secondary role behind Carvajal. The same source explains that, in doing so, his progress and regularity acquired at Dortmund would be undermined.
The same source maintains that the Moroccan has been living a dream since he joined the Bundesliga in 2018. In this club, he has established himself as one of the great revelations of world football in the space of a season and a half at BVB, where he has played a total of 2,119 minutes in 28 official matches. The versatile fullback wants to stay in the Bundesliga, either on loan for another season or permanently.
Moreover, a meeting is scheduled very soon between the player’s representatives and the Dortmund bosses. The German leaders could well conclude an agreement with Real, allowing the player to remain in the Bundesliga.
