After Years of Absence, an Airline Returns to Agadir This Winter
Finnair is reinstating its Helsinki–Agadir route for the 2026-2027 winter season. The Finnish airline will serve the Moroccan seaside resort directly every week starting October 14.
Flights will be offered once a week, from October 14, 2026, to March 24, 2027, confirms Finnair. The direct journey between Helsinki-Vantaa and Agadir-Al Massira will take approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes.
The airline is thus returning to Agadir after a long absence. The route will be seasonal and concentrated during the months when Nordic travelers seek sunnier destinations.

Finnair is selling the tickets directly, but the route is also intended to support packages organized by Aurinkomatkat, one of Finland’s leading tour operators.
Morocco Enters Aurinkomatkat’s Catalogue
Aurinkomatkat is adding Morocco to its winter program for the first time. The tour operator will offer stays in Agadir and Taghazout, as well as tours including Marrakech, thanks to direct flights operated from Helsinki.
The group presents Agadir as a destination suited to travelers seeking beaches, sunshine, surfing or golf without the hustle and bustle of a major metropolis. Its Moroccan season will run from October 14, 2026, to March 31, 2027, specifies Aurinkomatkat.
This return gives Agadir more direct access to the Finnish market, even though the Helsinki–Agadir route is also served by Norwegian. More broadly, it accompanies the expansion of the Moroccan airport’s international offering, particularly with new capacity from several French cities.
