11-Year-Old Moroccan Prodigy Wins Golf World Championship in USA

A young Moroccan golfer, Sofia Chérif Essakali, won the World Championship in the 11-year-old category. She also won the Florida State Invitational.
After the epic of Maha Haddioui, a golfer from the city of Agadir and a member of the Team of the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association (ATH), Sofia Chérif Essakali, a 11-year-old champion, honors the pearl of southern Morocco internationally. Thanks to her performances, Sofia Chérif Essakali has become the new ambassador of Moroccan golf by winning two tournaments in the United States.
The young Moroccan champion, who took her first steps at the Royal Golf d’Agadir, held her own against many American hopefuls in the discipline during the competition. During her journey in the United States, Sofia Chérif Essakali was accompanied by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG).
