A 10-year-old child managed to break into a bank branch in the Gueliz district of Marrakech, and seize a check for 360,000 dirhams.
The incident, according to the daily Al Massae, took place at the beginning of this week in Marrakech, when three underage children between the ages of 10 and 16 infiltrated through the open ATM.
Inside, they seized a check for 360,000 dirhams and fled, before the Marrakech police services were able to identify them with the help of surveillance cameras.
Admitting his theft, the child told the police that he intended to buy a mobile phone. On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the three minors were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
