Moroccan Father Arrested for Alleged Torture of 2-Year-Old Son in Agadir

After 48 hours in custody, a family father was brought before the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Agadir on Tuesday, November 5. He is being prosecuted for mistreatment and torture of his 2-year-old son.
According to the daily Assabah, reports had reached the Aït Melloul brigade about a child being mistreated by his father. Arriving on the scene, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the police found the father in a very advanced state of intoxication.
The child, for his part, was covered in bruises, bruises and cigarette burn marks, the same source affirms.
Tortured by his father and abandoned by his mother who, according to the testimonies, was a victim of domestic violence, the Public Prosecutor’s Office decided to place the child in the Center for the Protection of Abandoned Children in Agadir, immediately after his hospitalization.
The accused was brought before the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Agadir and prosecuted for mistreatment and intentional violence and physical torture.
