12-Year-Old Arrested for Racist Messages to Premier League Star Wilfried Zaha

A 12-year-old boy, an Aston Villa supporter, was arrested on Sunday by the English police. He would have sent racist insults to Crystal Palace player Wilfried Zaha.
After receiving the insulting messages, the striker revealed, on Sunday, screenshots of the racist insults from the young boy, a few hours before the Premier League match between the two teams.
In reaction to the behavior of its supporter, the club has committed to investigate and ban him for life. All Premier League clubs have been involved in a campaign against racism since the resumption of the championship last month, with logos bearing the slogan of the "Black Lives Matter" campaign.
For his part, the victim Zaha, 27, posted on Twitter the screenshots of the Ku Klux Klan photos he had received on Instagram. In addition to the photos sent, the accused, known under the pseudonym "jackdolan_avfc" also sent the message "You’d better not score, you black p**** or I’ll come to your house dressed as a ghost", referring to the Ku Klux Klan.
Both clubs also expressed their support for Zaha. For the player’s club, this incident is a shame. "This should not happen. We support you Wilf and no one should have to endure such abuse," Crystal Palace lamented on Twitter.
As for Aston Villa, the club says it is working with the police in the investigation while promising that the person concerned will be banned for life from the stadium once identified. A few days ago, Premier League players and clubs showed their support for the "Black Lives Matter" movement by kneeling before the start of each game.
