World Cup Controversy: French Star Rami Slams Martinez, Backs Bounou for Best Goalkeeper

For French player of Moroccan origin Adil Rami, the best goalkeeper of the 2022 World Cup should have been Yassine Bounou.
The former 2018 world champion with the Blues has commented on the various awards of the competition that ended last Sunday. In a video posted on Instagram stories, Rami felt that the Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, should have been preferred to Emiliano Martinez for the trophy for best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Moreover, the Troyes defender reacted to the provocations of the latter by insulting him. "The biggest FD in the world of football," he declared. Emiliano Martinez was the author of an obscene gesture when receiving his trophy for best goalkeeper of the competition, and was seen with a doll in the image of Kylian Mbappé during the Albiceleste parade in Buenos Aires.
In addition, Rami took a jab at the Argentines, believing that they celebrated more the defeat of Kylian Mbappé than their own victory. "The most hated man [...] Kylian Mbappé traumatizes them so much that they celebrate more the victory against our prodigy than their World Cup," he said.
