Woman Robbed of $7,000 in Savings After Leaving Home in Boujdour, Morocco
A woman was the victim of a snatch-and-grab theft on Tuesday, April 21, just after leaving her home in the Maata Allah neighborhood in Boujdour.
Followed by an unknown individual, the victim did not have time to react when the individual snatched her handbag, which contained, according to her statements, the sum of 70,000 dirhams.
This was a sum that she had just received from a collection, a traditional savings organized each month by her family circle and acquaintances in Boujdour.
Pending the identification of the aggressor, the police have opened an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office and collected several testimonies at the scene of the theft.
