Why Morocco is expropriating Algerian state property

The expropriation of real estate properties of the Algerian state located in the center of Rabat is imposed on the government of Aziz Akhannouch.

A 619 m2 plot of land, called "Kabalia", registered under the title deed R/9320, another property called "Zanzi", an area of 630 m2, registered under the title deed R/6375 and consisting of a two-story residence with offices on the ground floor, as well as a villa called "Villa du Soleil levant" with an area of 491 m2 registered in the land registry under number R/300. These are the real estate properties of the Algerian State likely to be expropriated by Morocco for reasons of public utility, in accordance with Law No. 81-7 of April 16, 1982, reports the daily Assabah. These properties will make way for new dependencies. According to the draft decree published in the edition devoted to legal, judicial and administrative announcements of the Official Bulletin dated March 13, this expropriation is justified by the need to expand the premises of services under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Rabat. In addition to these properties, properties belonging to Moroccan citizens - a villa of 1,149 m2, another villa of 547 m2 and a third villa of 542 m2 - are also subject to an expropriation procedure for reasons of public utility.
