West Ham Targets Lorient’s Terem Moffi After En-Nesyri Pursuit Falls Through

After failing to sign the FC Seville striker, Youssef En-Nesyri, West Ham is launching the track of the Lorient striker, Nigerian international Terem Moffi.
West Ham has found a nice alternative to Youssef En-Nesyri, one of the main architects of Morocco’s run at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. While the Hammers have expressed interest in the Seville striker, the Moroccan international does not want to play in England. "I just want to focus on Seville. [...] It’s not a question of money. I want to help the team in the worst moments," said the 25-year-old player.
This failure does not dampen West Ham’s ardor, however. In a statement to Givemesport, Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor said the English club has entered into negotiations with FC Lorient in the hope of securing the services of Terem Moffi (12 goals in Ligue 1 this season). The only problem: the Hammers are making an offer of 25 million pounds sterling while the French club is demanding 30 million pounds sterling.
