West Ham’s £40M Swoop for Moroccan Goal Machine En-Nesyri Shakes Premier League Transfer Market
West Ham United would be ready to break the bank to acquire Youssef En-Nesyri. The London club would offer a bid of 40 million euros to secure the services of the Moroccan striker from Fenerbahçe.
En-Nesyri is attracting the interest of several major European and Gulf clubs, including Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia. But the Atlas Lion dreams of continuing his career in the Premier League. According to the Turkish daily Star, West Ham wants to quickly integrate the Moroccan striker into its squad. The management of the English club would accelerate the negotiations with Fenerbahçe to allow their star striker to leave.
For now, the Istanbul club continues to study West Ham’s offer, which is not insignificant. The transfer of En-Nesyri will allow them to carry out the most lucrative financial operation in their history. For his part, the Moroccan international seems willing to join the English championship, one of the most competitive in the world.
Youssef En-Nesyri’s contract with Fenerbahçe runs until 2029. Last season, the Moroccan striker scored 30 goals and provided 7 assists in 52 matches played, across all competitions. At the start of this season, he has already scored in the Champions League qualifiers and provided an assist against Feyenoord.
