In the province of Chefchaouen, a dispute between a waiter and a customer led to the death of the former, stabbed by the latter. This was enough to sow unrest among the populations of this region of northern Morocco.
The scene took place in the El Dardara district, according to the Spanish media El faro de Ceuta, which cites Moroccan sources. It all started with a dispute between a waiter and a customer over the price of the service that the latter had nevertheless benefited from.
A dispute that would not have had its reason to be if the customer in question had not refused to give the 5 dirhams piece that the waiter was asking him for.
According to local media such as Tanja 24 and Canal Tétouan, the dispute took a worrying turn, to the point where the customer did not hesitate to stab the waiter with a sharp machine. The victim, a married man and father of two children, collapsed to the ground and died a few minutes later from his serious injuries, the same sources specify.
The body of the victim was taken to the Mohammed V Hospital in Chefchaouen, while the murderer was arrested by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie. An investigation has also been opened to determine the circumstances of this criminal act widely relayed on social networks.
