Violent Street Brawl in Valencia Leads to Arrest of 6 North African Men

A violent brawl between Moroccans and Algerians occurred on Thursday on Peris i Valero Avenue in Valencia, leading to the arrest of six people.
The protagonists, six young men aged 22 to 31, including three of Moroccan nationality and three of Algerian nationality, used bricks, iron bars and other blunt objects during these clashes, causing panic among residents and road users.
Alerted on Thursday to a fight in the middle of the street, the national police dispatched a patrol that was accompanied by the local police of Valencia. Once on the scene, the police saw the six young men in action. One of them was bleeding from the head and was quickly taken care of. The others had minor injuries.
The three Moroccans and three Algerians would be squatters of a building in the neighborhood. The fight broke out when some of them wanted to enter the building to recharge electric scooters, according to police sources quoted by Europa Press. The six young men were arrested. They are accused of disturbing public order and assault.
