Violent Repeat Offender Shot by Police During Arrest in Meknes, Morocco

To arrest a repeat offender with multiple criminal records for violent crimes and his involvement in several physical assaults with a knife, police from the Meknes Prefecture used service weapons.
The police intervened in the Borj Moulay Omar area for him to answer for his actions. He resisted the security elements with a knife. In an attempt to apprehend him, warning shots were first fired before three bullets were fired in his lower limbs so that he would comply and let go, in the face of his assault on the police elements.
At the end of the confrontation, the individual was taken to the hospital, as were the three victims and the police, to receive the necessary care.
A judicial investigation has been opened by the Prefectural Judicial Police Service of Meknes to determine the ins and outs of this case and identify the other crimes committed by the suspect.
