Violent Clash Erupts at Tangier Gym Over Wage Dispute, One Seriously Injured

A strike by coaches and maintenance workers leads to a conflict with machetes, sticks, feet and fists.
Last Saturday, the City Club hall in Tanger turned into a battlefield. A bloody battle that led one victim to the hospital, seriously injured. At the origin of all this, a strike by coaches and maintenance workers.
The cause, according to Alyaoum24, is a delay in wages attributable to the management of City Club. But the strike would have partially borne fruit since an agreement was reached with the coaches. But not with the maintenance workers...
Out of solidarity, the coaches did not interrupt their strike, also demanding the regularization of the situation of their maintenance colleagues.
Seeing this, management made a decision that apparently did not please at all: bringing in another team of coaches from Casablanca. And here are the coaches from Tanger (who ultimately no longer had any problems) seeing other coaches come to replace them. A fight between coaches then took place, leaving one victim who is still in serious condition.
The police called in to the rescue intervened and made multiple arrests. An investigation has been opened to shed light on this whole affair.
