Violent Brawl Erupts at Popular Costa Brava Pub Involving Moroccan Group

Moroccans entered a famous British pub on the Costa Brava, Spain and provoked a violent brawl.
The British pub The Fighting Cocks located in L’Estartit, a small town and seaside resort on the Costa Brava, in the border province of Girona, was the scene of a violent brawl between a group of three Moroccans and an individual. "Move, get out of the bar," the barmaid was shouting as the Moroccans targeted a man next to her, a customer according to police sources. According to the images of the scene, the victim was using a trash can to protect himself as one of the assailants, wearing a hooded sweatshirt around his face, tried to hit him with a weapon, reports Daily Mail. Subsequently, a man in shorts tried to stop two of the Moroccans, who were part of the group of three. "Stop," he shouted in English before closing the door behind them. The alleged aggressors fled.
"It was quite serious, but fortunately no one was injured and very little damage was done and we prefer not to comment further," said the British owner of this pub, which has been in operation for several decades and serves a mixed clientele. "Two bar customers, a man and a woman, were confronted by three Moroccan men. The targeted man took refuge behind the bar when he was physically assaulted. The woman he was with suffered minor injuries, but there were no serious injuries," testified a bar customer. According to another witness, there was another fight between the Moroccans and the victim elsewhere in L’Estartit the following night. The police say they were aware of the incident, but made no arrests. For now, no complaint has been filed with the competent legal authorities.
