According to her, the four men committed "a moral assault within her restaurant" which, she insists, "is not a place for homosexual demonstrations." In statements to Levante-EMV, Fatima recalled having the right "to choose her clientele."

Some Internet users have called for a boycott of the restaurant and urged the authorities to apply the law intended to fight discrimination based on sexual orientation.
