In total, more than twenty letters reach the bar, chronicling an unlikely world tour. From Asia to the Americas, through Africa and the overseas territories, the traveling gnome sends detailed news, with stamps and postmarks. The stories are fanciful: the figurine recounts having been imprisoned in Mexico before celebrating its wedding in Brazil. While the owners initially suspected a regular customer, the mystery remains intact, especially since a second gnome mysteriously appeared on the counter in the meantime.

However, the adventure seems to be coming to an end. The very last postcard received by the two sisters was mailed from Morocco. This ultimate clue on Moroccan soil suggests the end of the journey and gives the managers hope of seeing their companion return home just in time for the end-of-year holidays.
