Unaccompanied Moroccan Minors Face Dire Conditions in Spanish Enclave of Ceuta

Moroccan minors who are still in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta are suffering inhuman treatment. They are victims of racism and all kinds of attacks.
In Ceuta, Moroccan minors are suffering martyrdom. Some are chased by the police in the streets and neighborhoods, while others drown. In addition, they are victims of racism. Those who have been a little lucky are undocumented migrants who are counted in registers and housed in improvised shelters on neighborhood football pitches, in the middle of residential areas. They number 490.
Two deaths have been recorded among the undocumented migrants who tried to reach the Spanish enclave by swimming, reports Assabah. The first death occurred last Friday following an accidental fall. After reaching Ceuta, a young migrant tried to climb one of the ships to reach the port of Algeciras, but failed. Admitted to a hospital, he died. His body is currently in the morgue of a hospital in the Spanish enclave.
The second death occurred at sea. A young migrant died while trying to reach Ceuta by swimming. His body was found on a beach near the border post separating the towns of Fnideq and Ceuta.
In a statement to AFP, a spokesman for the Spanish Interior Ministry recalled that "between 8,000 and 9,000" undocumented migrants had entered the enclave at the beginning of last week. Among them, 7,500 have already been sent back to Morocco.
