Ukraine Recalls Ambassadors to Morocco and Georgia for Failing to Defend National Interests

The Ukrainian ambassadors to Morocco and Georgia have been recalled by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, due to their inability "to defend the interests of the country".
It was in a video posted on Twitter that Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had signed decrees to recall the Ukrainian ambassador to Rabat, Oksana Vasylieva, as well as the Ukrainian ambassador to Georgia. For the Ukrainian president, the two diplomats did not work in the interest of Ukraine in time of war.
"Today, I have signed a decree for the recall of the ambassadors of Ukraine to Morocco and Georgia. There will be no weapons, there will be no sanctions, there will be no obstacles for Russian companies? With all due respect to you, please look for another job," Zelensky said, who also called on Ukrainian diplomats in Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa to intensify their efforts.
A diplomatic clean sweep that the president easily justifies. Ukraine is going through troubled times and no one has the right to fail in their duties. "The diplomatic front is one of the main fronts. And everyone must work as efficiently as possible to win and help the Ukrainian army. Like each of our defenders on the battlefield. The same goes for everyone on the diplomatic front," summarized the president, who recalled that his decision did not target the countries where these ambassadors were located.
On February 26, Morocco, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had stated its position on the Ukrainian conflict. "The Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its support for the territorial integrity and national unity of all United Nations member states. The Kingdom of Morocco also recalls its attachment to the principle of non-use of force for the settlement of disputes between States and encourages all initiatives and actions conducive to a peaceful settlement of conflicts."
